I admit it lah, sometimes I just tired if trying.
That's why love, it just..fail. LOL Can't do it.
..when it leads to disappointment
*sigh

Got it from the net by Pastor K.Young.
Let try to be frank here okay.
Read with common sense in it okay.

You don't need God's wisdom or whatever to read it :)

Top 10 reasons to Read the Bible.

#1 The Bible claims it's true
Yeah yeah yeah. Although this itself does not prove that the Bible is true.

Obviously as a normal human being we will doubt, like Really meh?
The fact that the Bible claims that it is written by God, possibly..I said possibly it is REAL right..

For instance, let say your lecturer come in the class and said, 'This is the question exam for tomorrow.."
Hmm. You might doubt, MAYBE it's real or MAYBE its just fake.

So what then?

Just saying, If the bible is REAL, so if the Bible says, those who don't believe in Jesus Christ will go hell.
WAHHHH. So serious one?! What book is this mannn?!

So at the end of the world, or when you die..
If you see your Christian friends end up at the same place which is, Eg: a dark place no where to be found- just like that-doing nothing, Obviously you will laugh at them right? 'HAHAHA. funny people! believe there is real God. Seeee, where is your heaven?! Work like mad for what? Yada yada yada..'

BUTT, WHAT IF you end up in Hell?

So the weight of the bible is very heavy right. Whether you believe it or not, it's like your end eternal destiny man WOAH. *Gulps.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness 2 Tim 2:16

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. for prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit 2 Peter 1:20-21

#2 Jesus claims it's true
Even if you think Jesus is just a great teacher, which has thousand of testimony and has millions of followers.
You must be thinking, this guy must be something..something..
Why do people follow Him and trust in Him. Crazy.
Dude. You know right, it's not easy to reach millions of fans on your Facebook page. Even Justin Bieber also has not many fans as Jesus.

This Jesus man, quote from the Bible.
Ohh. Who is he?
Even if Albert Einstein quote some theory out from his mouth, you all will be like..*mouth wide open
Because what?

#3 The Bible is morally and ethically superior piece of literature.
A college English professor (a non-Christian) at the University of California, Berkeley, encouraged us to read the book of Ecclesiastes, claiming that is was a remarkable piece of literature. The Bible's superiority has often been acknowledged even by unbeliever and is denied by few who have actually read and studied it pages.

Let just randomly turn to the book of Proverbs..
*I seriously randomly picked..

Proverbs 7:3 Sorrow is better than laughter because a sad face is good for the heart.

#4 The Bible has the power to affect us
Martin Luther, you guys know who is that right?
It's a REAL person btw, if you guys doubt that.

In the 1500's Martin Luther said, 'My conscience has been taken captive by the Word of God.' I too have been "taken captive" by the Bible. I didn't fully believe that the Bible was true until one evening, when I was 19, I started reading the Bible, beginning in the books of John and Matthew. I started to read it ten minutes a day, then 15, then 20, then 30 minutes a day. I was so moved by what I read that I committed my life to Jesus Christ.

I'm not trying to side him or whatever.
But it's an historical guy who appear in your Sejarah textbook. Or world history.
Why do he even care about it?

#5 The Bible has extraordinary unity
The bible is composed of 66 parts, or books.
Written over a period approximately 1500 years (from about 1450BC to about 90AD)
Wrote by over 40 different people.
All of them were all different from each other. Some were rich, some poor, some young, some old. Some were priest, some were prophets, one was tax collector (Matthew), one was doctor (Luke), a tent-maker (Paul), and a fisherman (Peter).
YET they all wrote about the same man who claimed to be God-Jesus Christ. on the surface, there might seem to be disagreement between the writer, but if you study deeper, you will find they all agree about Jesus Christ, God, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, the end times, salvation, heaven, hell, etc.

So, hmm. You might be thinking? How is that possible?
It's like 1500 years apart?
Or probably..hmmm..they fake it? People changed it?

#6 The Bible is historically accurate
Luke, a Bible writer, is one example. His details about Roman officials such as "Sergio Paulus of Cyprus", "Gallio, the proconsul of Achaia", "Herod the Great", "Pontius Pilate", and "King Agrippa", are all confirmed by ancient Roman historial records and archeology.

Even unbelieving scholars agree that King David, King Solomon, the Philistines, and countless other persons mentioned in the Bible were real people, and cities as Ephesus, Philippi and Thessalonica were real places.

The ancient Ebla Tablets (collection of 17,000 tablets discovered since 1968), mention the biblical cities of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar (found in Genesis 14)

The Mari Tablet (25,000 tablets written in 1900 BC), mention the names of Abraham, Jacob, Nahor, Dan, Levi, Benjamin, and Ishmael, found in the book of Genesis.

Also a Canaanite bronze calf was discovered years ago and reported in Time magazine, confirming the Bible's account that pagan nations worshiped calves.

#7 Bible prophecies are fulfilled.
For example, Jesus Christ fulfilled numerous prophecies. Read Isaiah 53,Micah 5:2Daniel 9:25-27, and Jeremiah 23:5-6 and Psalm 16:8-11

In these few Old Testament prophecies, made several hundred years before Jesus Christ exist, we are told the exact time of Jesus' coming, the exact place of His birth, the family of which He would be born, the condition of His family at the time of His birth, how He would be received by people, the method of His death, how He would be buried and His resurrection.

These predictions were all fulfilled with great accuracy in Jesus Christ.

#8 The Bible has been extraordinarily preserved
Yup. The Bible is very old. Its oldest book is almost 3.500 years old. Yet, somehow, more than any other ancient writing, the Bible doesn't seem to change over time, even over thousands of years.

For example, ancient scrolls of parts of the Bible (eg: Isaiah, Psalms) written around 100BC were found in the 1940's near the Dead Sea in the Middle East. When compared to the next most ancient biblical scrolls the Masochistic Text, written around 900 AD, it's proven that it's the same. Except probably the grammatical difference or punctuation.

As for the New Testament, there are about 25,000 ancient manuscripts (copies), as early as 120 AD, or in other words, just 30 years after the last book of the New Testament was written.
Compared this to Homer's Iliad (Classical Greek literature) which there are only 643 ancient manuscript, fating only as early as 500 years after its writing.
For Sophocles, there're 193 manuscripts.
For Aristotle, there're 49
For Plato's Tetralogies there're only 7, dating as much as early as 1200 years after its writing.
Sooo..

#9 The Bible writers endure great persecution for what they saw
They were witnesses to Jesus' resurrection or His existence and held to their story even under great persecution.
Matthew was slain with a sword in Ethiopia.
Mark died by being dragged through the streets of Alexandria.
Luke was hanged on an olive tree.
John was banished to prison in Patmos.
Peter was crucified upside down. Jude was shot to death with arrows.
Paul was beheaded at Rome by Emperor Nero.

Phew. Scarehhh
Dude. WHY THE HECK DO YOU WANT TO DIE FOR OTHERS?
If the events in the Bible were false, no writer in his right mind would endure such torture for a lie.
Probably you would go to the extend of lying for others. But not dying for the sake of a lie.

#10 The Bible changes lives.
YUP.

After this probably you'll have gazillion more evidence to fight why it is false.
Or probably you don't even give a damn on your life..
Oh well..
